Thanks for Praying-

My mom was released from the hospital today at one! This is awesome news considering just yesterday the doctor said she would be here til Wed. at the earliest, and maybe even Thursday or Friday. It was not a moment too soon for my mom, she was going insane being in that uncomfortable bed, being prodded all night long by nurses taking vitals, and having to just be all around dependent on others. She is not back to 100% but has been sent home with strict orders to go straight to Clarinda (do not pass go, do not go to see your grandchildren), see her family doctor and get referred to a urologist to see about the removal of this giant stone once the infection is gone. She is on oral meds now so she will continue on the antiobiotics for a while. I know you all were praying because she miraculously turned around from Sunday to Monday. Thanks to all of you who were lifting her up. Please pray for her continued healing and that she would not OVERDO it.

I am thankful to God that she is doing better. That was scary for a while. Do not let things in your kidneys go! That is the lesson here :)

Praises & Prayer Requests, for those of you who are wearing holes in the floor from being on your knees for us. We love you for that :)
- Grieving time- things have been a little crazy around here because of all the things that went on with Mom this weekend. We have not had a lot of time to be processing things here. We need to grieve and process together
- We postponed our trip to CA. Pray we'd be able to go out there in Feb. when the next conference is held. I am just not able to do that right now.
- Finances are about the furthest thing from our mind right now, but in the past month we've incurred lots of costs that were unexpected. Please pray we would not worry about such things.

Thanks to all of you who have prayed and continue to pray. It is an amazing thing to know a community of people are going before the throne of Grace for us!

Praise the Lord that your mom is feeling better! I will continue to pray that she takes care of herself and that her kidney would be completely healed.
