Dan got off the phone with his brother Doug, and Elly immediately said, "What did Doug say? Is he gettin' a baby?" (Which is funny in itself, since they have 6 kids :) And Dan said, "No, he's not getting a baby." Elly replied, "There are babies--in Ee-pee-oh-pee-uh." I smiled at Dan and semi-whispered, "I think she thinks that is the normal way for people to get babies!" And then she said, "Some grown ups go to Ee-pee-oh-pee-uh and get the babies and some leave the babies."
We marveled at the profoundness of her statement for about .15 seconds...and then,
"OOOH! I LOVE toys!!"
