Just One Thing Missing.

At least his room is ready for him now!

Esias' Room!! Yippee.

Nursery progress is good!

I made this very inexpensive name thing for Esias' wall and I think it came out cute. I used thin wooden letters from Hobby Lobby- they came in packs of two for 99 cents. Then I used clearance hobby paper 4/$1 - can't beat that. I just traced around the letters onto the paper, cut it out and then ModPodged it all to heck. Easy.

I just absolutely love the quilt. Kinsey Mazunik's mom Deb made it. I had bought a bunch of fabric for curtains and then decided I didn't have the skills to make them. Kinsey's mom graciously accepted my shameless request and made this amazing quilt for Esias. Thanks, Deb! She's an honorary grandma now :)

I stuck the letters on the wall myself standing on a too-short chair. People with balance disorders should not stand precariously on chairs, but you know, I am a rebel. Judging by the placement of the letters, however, I should have waited til Dan got home :) Hope you enjoy the sneak peek. I hope to get the room complete this week and post the "after" photo!

Jaren's Room!

It's not totally done, but I thought I would show you the progress. We painted the walls a really subtle brownish color called "Bamboo Stalk." The dresser was already green. We added the wall decals (which are super easy to do) and put together the crib. The bedding looks great and is very soft! I am really happy with the progress. We still need to hunt up the baby monitor, night light, and other baby supplies. I also have to buy material to make some quick curtains and get a shade. It's all coming together though, and in just one weekend, I think we did pretty well!!

Might Be a Little Early...

...to be purchasing crib bedding, but I found this cute-a-riffic crib set on clearance at Walmart.com! And since ALL the blankets we have are pink and/or ruffly, I thought we needed something a bit more neutral! It may be my early Mother's Day gift :) I can't wait to get it on the new crib. So CUTE! And how about a nice blue wall? Can you tell I'm thinking boy...

We are still waiting a bit longer to put the girls together in one room. I am thinking we'll make the transition this summer sometime. We have to buy some bunk beds first and make sure they can handle not giggling til all hours! :)
